Bandwidth Meter and Diagnostics 1.1
This extension can perform bandwidth and speed measurement for Internet connections. Ver 1.1 has new diagnostic features.
The version 1.1 added a new diagnostic feature.
When Firefox fails to load a webpage, the extension will automatically check whether Internet conenction is working or not. You can also use network troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping and traceroute etc) to check the websites. Try to type a non-existent domain name(e.g., qwqwqwq121212.com) to see what this means ...
This extension adds "Bandwidth Meter" to the Tools Menu. It performs the following tasks:
- Display your public IP address
- Display your public domain name
- Test download speed/bandwidth
- Test upload speed/bandwidth
