I feel Yahoo Advance Search feature give lots of scope of customizing search, so my article is devoted to Yahoo Search techniques

Type/Copy in the Address Bar http://search.yahoo.com/web/advanced
Drag the Yahoo icon to home icon on the browser ( I use firefox 2.0.0.4)

This will enable to automatically load Yahoo Search page when Firefox loads.


These are the fundamental rules to Search

Rule 1: Know what you want to search and be specific

• To search exact words use "specific words", Click to view example

Rule 2: Know exactly which type of site could give you your results
Example: commercial(.com), government(.gov) etc

• Search within a given domain
• Search in a given site

Rule 3: Know exactly, if you want to get result from a particular country.
